Yuru
Yuru is Asa's older twin. He's a sixteen-year-old boy who was raised in a village deep in the mountains. Of the twins separated by day and night, he is the "night" twin so he is destined to have the power of Fuu. He is the master of Sayuu-sama: Left and Right.
Yuru is incredibly selfless and family-oriented. His main interactions prior to the siege of the village included reassuring his fake sister (Fake Asa) that he will remain in the village for life in order to protect her, and being known by Ryu Tadera to ask for nothing for himself but always ask for a souvenir for Asa.
Yuru is a resilient and resourceful individual who has been shaped by his upbringing in a secluded mountain village. He is fiercely loyal to his family and friends, particularly to his sister Asa, and will do whatever it takes to protect them. Yuru is also a skilled archer, having been trained as a hunter from a young age, and has an impressive aim that has saved him and his loved ones on multiple occasions. He can be stubborn and headstrong at times, but he is also capable of listening to reason and adjusting his approach when necessary. Despite his tough exterior, Yuru is a compassionate and empathetic person who feels deeply and is often moved by the plight of others.
Yuru has the eyes of a hunter and is often compared to a ferocious predator due to his quick reflexes and indomitable demeanor, earning him the moniker "wild" from Gab. Along with his sister Asa, they are known as the "monster siblings" because of their belief that every child should carry "an ax or two". Unlike her sister, Yuru is more straightforward and has a rough and suspicious demeanor. Due to his isolated upbringing, he tends to think in an absurd yet comical way, such as being impressed by the taste of food, feeding hay to a car thinking it's an animal, mistaking planes for dragons, or memorizing the use of a bathroom.
Yuru's journey to the modern world has been a challenging one, but he has proven himself to be adaptable and quick-thinking, though he may appear like a hillbilly, his natural intelligence allows Yuru to learn easily in the face of new technologies and societal norms. However, he still struggles with the ways of the world and can come across as naive or simple to those around him. Despite this, he is determined to unravel the mysteries surrounding his sister's imprisonment and their separation, and will not rest until he finds the truth. Yuru's Fish out of Water status has also given him a unique perspective on the world, allowing him to see through the facades and illusions that often hide the truth. He is a true hero at heart, driven by a sense of justice and a desire to protect those he cares about, even at great personal cost.
