Takuto is a shinigami (Death God) partnered with another shinigami, Meroko. Together, they are tasked with taking Mitsuki's soul. His trademark shinigami attire resembles a cat costume, complete with a winged backpack that grants him the ability to fly—something he cannot do on his own, as he has yet to earn his true wings. Takuto also has the ability to transform into an anthropomorphic cat plushie. Using his powers, he transforms Mitsuki into her 16-year-old self to help her pursue her dream of becoming a singer.
